New Jersey’s beachfront encompasses 130 miles from Sandy Hook to Cape May Point. Nearly all beachfront towns charge for admission daily, weekly, or seasonally. These entrance fees may be named passes, beach tags, or badges. Price ranges vary from $5 a day to $150 for the season. The wary beachgoer has a multitude of choices.

New Jersey’s free beaches include Atlantic City, Corson’s Inlet State Park, North Wildwood, Sandy Hook, Strathmere, Wildwood Crest, and Wildwood. No badge, pass, or tags are required in these areas, although parking fees may apply as high as $20 a day.

The following is a list of New Jersey beach prices current to date for the 2024 season. This season includes Memorial Day through Labor Day. Staffing on these beaches is in effect from mid-June through Labor Day.

New Jersey has a plethora of shore activities to offer children and adults alike. Each town is unique in its form, function, entertainment, and eateries. Varying experiences throughout the coming months will surely bring laughter and relaxation among the sand and the sea.

Asbury Park -Updates expected (Council Meeting)

$6 daily weekday, $9 weekends and holidays

$70 seasonal

$20 for seniors age 62+, youth adults 13–17
