Tips that I used to build a writing habit and make $40k in a year.
#1 Find a strong reason—why you are picking a particular habit.
Look, in life, whatever you want to add or pursue, you need a strong reason to stick with it. If the reason is not that strong, you will eventually become lazy and somehow stop doing it.
For example, before starting to write, I have been in many fields and have tried implementing different habits, but I have not been able to stick to any. Like you, I have taken courses in web development and digital marketing. And I quit them all after trying for almost a month.
Why? I had no strong reason.
I just knew that it existed and checked on Google to see how much a person could earn from it. If the salary range is high, I pick that.
But money cannot be a reason to start anything (I mean, it can be, but in the end, it all comes down to whether you like it or not).
So, find a reason.
Suppose you want to make the habit of waking up early. Then find a strong reason that will force you to wake up early. In my case, I started going to the gym in the mornings…
