No, Your Pee Shouldn’t Glow: Nutrition Advice I Still Can’t Believe I Had to Give
Solid nutritional advice is sometimes comical
“I don’t know how to explain it exactly.”
Why don’t you try?
“Well, I get a lot of headaches, and…..”
And what?
“Well, my pee is kind of glowing.”
How much water have you had to drink today?
“How much water is in this?”
That’s an energy drink, it doesn’t count.
“Oh…… then none, I guess.”
While we’re on the subject, how many of those have you had today?
“This is only my 3rd… or maybe 4th.”
I had to literally bite my tongue to hold back what I wanted to say. He wasn’t holding just any energy drink, it was one of those 32-oz resealable White Monsters. And he had three or four of them.
I’m no doctor, but I was willing to guess that 96–128 oz of energy drinks per day wasn’t the best hydration strategy.
Sadly, these things needed to be said
