Three Forged One Heat-Treated

After deciding I wasn’t writing today and, doing it anyway. I finally went out to the shop. A slight problem with the forge fixed and got in some forging.

One blade is an S7 tool steel. One is 1084 and one is forged from a piece of plow tine for a farmer friend. It is from his tractor.

The heat-treated blade is W2 clayed and quenched. It will have a hempwood handle.

I guess it’s not a bad day. Haven't had the forge running for a while. Felt good to make something with heat and hammer.
