The last hour of the night before dawn and my conversations with God — light of prayer permeates the heart’s gloomy alleys.

The night prayer (prayed during the last third of every night) is one of the highly recommended voluntary prayers in Islam. I am not very regular but whenever I do, I have always experienced a positive outcome. It is believed that whatever we pray for at that time is accepted. It’s called Tahajjud in Arabic.

What One Simple Pleasure in Life did you experience today?
