As a writer, you can at times just spew out whatever is in your head. You can start typing the words onto a computer screen or if you are like me writing down your thoughts onto paper — old school style.

At times when you write you may think about it will seem to go well and it will satisfy the search engines. Or you may think that the book, ebook, short story or simple manuscript will seem like a really good piece because you love a particular topic.

But there is one thing that you have to remember when writing consider your reader. You must consider the following and ask the following questions when writing. The following questions are geared toward thinking how the reader will benefit.

What engages them?

What do they need help with?

What motivates them?

What inspires them?

Can you solve a need for them?

Thinking about theses questions will help you consider the reader. We see this is so true with the recent Google update. On Google’s blog, the company recently posted about the March algorithm core update. Within that blog post, it explains that the company tried to get rid of spam in the search engines and are looking for content that are written for people not search engines.

Final Thoughts

So, always consider the reader before you write. Think about this:

How will you consider the reader when you write?
