It’s taken me over 50 years to realize that whatever happens today, tomorrow and next week is something I don’t need to freak out about. It’s simply part of a story within a story within a story. In other words, days and events are just pages within chapters within the book of our lives.

The other thing that’s taken me 50 years to realize is something I saw in an old quote this week by Napoleon Hill.

“It takes half your life before you discover that life is a do-it-yourself project”

Good lord, it only I knew these things 30 years ago!

Recently I’ve been on a nostalgic journey through the lens of a TV series from the early 2000’s called ‘Scrubs’.

I’ve seen it before but so long ago that I’ve forgotten only about the content, but not how it left me feeling (warm, fuzzy, and ‘learned’).

I couldn’t help but notice the profound parallels between the show’s storytelling and the intricate layers of our own lives.

Have you ever found yourself revisiting a piece of your past, much like I have by stumbling upon an old series you once loved?
