You’ve probably heard…

Patience is a virtue.

- Somebody

and you may think…

Wow. That was corny.

- You

But is it actually corny? Is it true? If so, how true is it?

The meaning behind the saying.

The proverb “patience is a virtue” means that it is a good quality to be able to tolerate something that takes a long time. -Writingexplained

But let’s break it down more.

What is patience?

Patience is when somebody is able to withstand the constant hardships that life throws at them and still is able to maintain balanced mental health.

Not too stressed and not too relaxed.

Patience is the ability to thoroughly think through the difficulties that arise when you are climbing that mountain.
