Peace Found on the Edge

Photo by Jonathan Borba on Unsplash

Alone I wake with no goal
It’s time that seems to hold
Why is the day drifting on
I’ll get up and be bold

Only to find I have no goal
It’s not me to simply lay cold
But I don’t know what will be
What if I can’t hold the load
