Last week, Diana C. posted several writing prompts. One of her prompts was for writers to write a pep talk to themselves. In this article, I am going to share pep talks specifically for my readers in various situations.

I know that interviews can be scary. It can be easy to doubt your abilities. BUT you received this interview for a reason! The company loved your resume and thought you would be the right fit for the position. You have a lot to offer them! And you prepared for this interview! You are smart, reliable, professional, and capable of great things!

A Pep Talk Before a First Date

You are an incredible person with an attractive personality! Don’t worry about what your date thinks of you. They are probably just as nervous as you are. And if you’re both nervous, you can joke about it.

Go in there like the badass that you are! And remember that no matter what happens, you are a GREAT catch!

Oh, and you look hot in that outfit!
