A Father’s Day message of gratitude

Every Father’s Day I am grateful for the all the life lessons my Dad has taught me. Through the good times and the tough times, I’ve observed my Dad’s character and dedication to me and my family and it’s nothing short of admirable.

My Dad played college basketball and that instilled in me a great love for the game of basketball.

Was my Dad perfect or is he? No.

He perseveres.

Through the struggles and the tears.

He perseveres.

Through the uncertainty and fears.

He perseveres.

Through perseverance, dragons can be slain.

Through perseverance, we can endure the pain.

Through perseverance, the greatest fruits can be obtained.

Thank you Dad for being a fighter and for taking the hits so I didn’t have to.

You took some big blows and no matter how hard that bastard hit, you are still standing and you are still persevering.
