Protection = Control

Protection and control are two sides of the same coin. When you ask someone for protection, you grant them control over you. A society that aims for a total protection of people, and therefore for total control, in my book, is a dystopian society. You get comfort for the price of chains. However, as soon as the sublime impulse of life awakens, and one exposes himself to the uncertainty, risk, and discomfort, where all the personal growth lies, rebellion begins and dystopia cannot be achieved. In a society where the fine balance between protection and control cannot be accomplished due to the capitalistic agendas that aim for total domination, anarchism becomes the answer. Not for the sake of rebellion, but for the sake of personal growth.
