A Spiritual Dialogue

Say, God, did you
see the sunrise this
morning? I sometimes
wonder about your
creation. Why did
you make day and
night? Why do we
have to sleep? You
could have made us
so that we did not
rest. Our bodies could
simply have been able
to replenish themselves.
Why do we have the
seasons? Why don’t
we have perpetual summer?
So many questions, God,
and rarely do I hear
your answers. Do you
doubt your ability to respond?
