Racist Right and PM of Colour in UK
UK Conservatives are so adept at playing the racial blame game. Since the decision-makers are people of color (PM, Home Secretary), the Conservatives can push for agendas that are cruel, disgusting, and farcical.
So, when it’s time to assign blame, they can always say, “Oh, that’s why people of color should not lead because they are barbaric and cruel.”
Well, at least this is the first assignment they have. Who else are you going to blame if you suddenly see the politics moving so much to the right that it scares the living shit out of everyone?
For example, the Rwanda plan. Who thinks of such a cruel and unnecessary plan in this day and age? Flying asylum seekers to Rwanda basically trafficking them into another country with sketchy human rights. Can a nation which prides itself for being a human rights champion(since the 90’s atleast )ever imagine that?
It is indeed a barbaric thing to imagine, and Sunak on live telly taking a bet they will be sending people off to Rwanda before the election.
