Rain-rain don’t go away

Little Johnny might not play,

But little Jill might,

For her, the rain is not a sore sight.

She wants to feel raindrops on her face,

The breeze makes it ethereal.

It is an escape from her life of maze,

Her problems seem immaterial.

Let little Jill have her fun,

Till every moment feels like a gun,

Aimed at her face.

Little Jill ain’t little no more.

She explores

Even if it’s from floor to door.

Begging for freedom is she what she abhors,

But rain- rain, today please don’t go.
