Most people prepare for retirement and old age.

People of all ages can fall victim to scammers, but the criminals often target senior citizens who can ill afford to lose the money. They are trying to steal money from people, and they don’t care who they hurt.

Retirees may have prepared well for retirement. They might have enough money saved up to supplement their Social Security payments. They should not be cheated out of that money by scammers.

The best protection against scams is to have information and be vigilant in guarding your personal information along with your money. You do not want to lose money that is necessary for your lifestyle in retirement.
