Review of the 2TB X31 Beetle
Thoughts on a beetle-shaped SSD Drive.

Having an external storage drive for my games has never occurred to me before. When my computer crashed with my pacifist Undertale run and most of the Spelunky shortcuts, I shrugged and accepted it. Admittedly, I was a little upset about Spelunky because it took about a year to make that much progress, and roguelikes require you to start over on new computers. Having a backup is a good idea, though, if you want to make sure that your game stays saved or you need to make room on a laptop or desktop for new ones.
I was intrigued when the parent company offered to send me a complimentary X31 for testing. Having storage is important, especially with many devices that release with planned obsolescence and fascist censorship going after media underdogs. And I was impressed by the design and storage size. 2 terabytes is more than enough to hold a video game library, as well as large files like stream recordings.
