Self-love. It’s a term that gets thrown around a lot, but what does it really mean?

Quite simply, self-love is valuing yourself and your own happiness. It means accepting yourself for who you are, flaws and all, and being kind to yourself in both word and deed. When we practice self-love, our mental well-being improves as a result.
