Central Cee is my favorite UK rapper. He reckons having a distinctive flow and I agree. In one of his songs titled Khabib, he says, rule number one, don’t panic. I happen to agree as well. This constant agreement with his lyrics could probably be the reason I like his music. I’m not quite certain. It could be more than that.

Before ushering in 2024 I was pretty chill and kinda nonchalant about the whole thing. That’s all true without mentioning the clubbing bit till morning on New Year’s Eve.

Your girl has always had this mental picture of what her first house could look like. On the outside, it looks simple but has a lot of aesthetics. Giving it a home vibe rather than just a four-sided brick structure filled with furniture.

We all have goals. Big and small. That part is easy. It’s quite simple and doable. What’s not is fulfilling it (on set time)and not panicking when all seems to not be going so well. But just like Central Cee says, rule number one don’t panic. That’s the North Star. It’s the only constant we should desperately uphold and truly see and think of as the overall goal.

New Year’s resolutions are a hot topic right now on the internet. And that just adds salt to injury because before setting new ones, you automatically think of the listed ones that have been gathering dust on the shelf for God knows how long. But remember our golden rule? don’t panic.

But as you probably know, some things gotta give. And give massively. So what do we mostly do when in such desperate(understandable)situations? We decided to play safe and lower our expectations(again understandable) to feel motivated and inspired to give the long shot another go.

It’s better to aim for the stars and land on the moon than vice versa. But for this philosophical statement to resonate, we would have to be people with grit, believe in the power of one more and that derailment is an opportunity for a better outcome.

With the fast rise of loneliness in the world despite being connected, it’s getting drastically easier and easier to not know our place and purpose in this fast-moving snowball mystery we call life. Again, don’t panic.

Time is our greatest asset, it always seems to be tic toking against us nine out of ten times the damn time. Some people claim the idea of it being a contract and that it doesn’t exist, but it’s hard to join the club given I seem to age daily, celebrate New Year’s every year, anxiously wait for the weekend every week, and so on. Time seems freaking real to me as far as my and your example list goes.

On that note, death is twice more real than time(I’d suppose). So none of what’s making us panic can be as deadly as what our little monkey minds are making us believe and dread. The thought of one’s demise instantly neutralizes such fiction and enables them to see and operate far more reasonably.

As I jot all this down I’m getting high off my supply. And for this reason, I’m frankly the best person to be giving such advice.

Rule number one, don’t panic.

Hey there! Thanks a lot for sticking around here. It means a lot!
