Are Humans Actually Potatoes?
If we take a look around, we are surrounded by more ‘potatoes’ than humans. We live with potatoes, talk to them, and even share our secrets. When these potatoes get cooked and become adults, we often become strangers with them. Potatoes may become fries or chips and look pretty in one go but, get mashed together and also look ugly.
We like adult potatoes, and sometimes we also hate them. It doesn’t matter whether we like them or not because we know that they are pretty from the inside. We know that it’s the process that makes them ugly and unappealing.
We roast potatoes; their skin gets burnt and may look dark, which many people will find ugly. But as we get closer and take a bite, we realize that it’s worth looking ugly because it’s the taste that matters the most.
Roasted Sapiens:
For Sapiens(Humans), going through bitter life experiences is roasting. The resulting Sapiens who have learned a lot of life lessons after getting roasted are Roasted Sapiens. The more people go through the roasting process, the prettier they become from the inside.
Many people want to be with roasted sapiens but not everyone deserves them. Roasted sapiens are people who have been through a lot of challenges and now they don’t care about whether people like them or not. They only care about their heart being appealing.
They trust their acquaintance with the process, but they feel horrible when it burns them. Most of the time, it’s betrayal that leads to their burning. However, sometimes people do not mean to hurt you, but they mess up and end up causing you pain, even if it’s not their intention. When someone is hurt, all they can feel is pain. They don’t care about the reason why they got hurt; they only want to put the blame on somebody or figure out the cause and circumstances.
In such moments, roasted sapiens behave differently. They already expect everyone to disappoint them or do not expect anything from anyone. They’ve already figured out during roasting that disappointing someone is the easiest thing to do, even when you don’t want to.
It’s actually rare to find such roasted sapiens with fine texture. Sometimes these sapiens get burned, thinking they are learning from roasting. Eventually, a part of them gets lost and they become depressed. Although they can’t recover the lost part, they can learn.
Boiled Sapiens:
Boiled sapiens are among the most pampered potatoes (people) in the world. They grow up in refined environments and come of age in clean, clear water. Heat reaches them slowly, without causing them harm. They believe that the world consists only of water, having no idea of what’s out their in the world.
They are born in water and their lives end in water as well. Even the heat of hot water gently penetrates them afraid of causing any harm. Everyone is cautious not to hurt boiled sapiens, and they spend their luxurious lives in the shadow of their well-furnished families in water.
Dreadful End:
When boiled sapiens are taken out of the water, they are handled with great care due to their delicacy. Initially, nobody is willing to touch them, but as time passes and things cool down, the peeling process begins.
Other sapiens (humans) peel them so they can look attractive and different from the rest. It’s at this moment, when boiled sapiens start using others for their own benefit.
Everyone begins working for their sake and comfort. However, they forget that they are no longer in the boiling water, where nobody can hurt them. They’ve entered a completely different world. As they become more attractive, they become prey to other sapiens and eventually cease to exist. They become the reason of their own downfall.
Fried Sapiens:
These sapiens are the most interesting ones. They change themselves when rejected or teased by others. When they are mistreated, instead of crying in a corner, they work on themselves and transform into completely different sapiens. They increase their self worth.
