Have You Lost Relationships Over Politics?
Maybe the political divide is weeding out people who don’t share your deepest values or respect your boundaries. But it’s still painful.
Sadly there’s been a lot of destroyed relationships since Trump first ran. I’ve had one, but it wasn’t really about politics (more on that later).
I’m not one to decide someone’s personal boundaries, aka, when enough is enough.
Like when someone keeps going on and on about how brainwashed you are about “woke socialist agendas, criminal illegal immigrants who eat pets” even after you tell them, “Please stop.”
Gone are the days of simple partisanship (I mourn).
Now, you’re either for Trump — or you’re for democracy (I’m the latter).
It wasn’t remotely that cut and dry in 2016.
It is now.
This is about saving our country from authoritarianism and Project 2025.
It’s about Republicans, Independents, Democrats standing together against MAGA fascism.
Pre Trump you didn’t have to think twice if you were in favor of checks and balances and the pillars of democracy.
