Single Life-through death-places a human in a new- space/time.
It was not my choice to be alone.
Surprise-an unplanned life occurrence with no guidance on how to move forward — Suddenly you are alone. With the death of someone you love, there is no plan book- just odd advice from many. The focus is clearly placed on counseling/ muddling through the unthinkable grief process. Scenarios no one wants to think about or hear. Even the word conjures horror.
Core ideas in helping are noble at best. People believe one should be working through the pain and moving forward/meeting people. Getting out. Dating. It really does not work that way- for anyone I think. It is a much deeper process.
This is not about grief- or missing someone.
It is not about heartache or loneliness. This is different. Very different.
It is a secret that no one speaks or writes about.
It is not about a particular person.
It is more about self-discovery.
It is about life and all it has to offer. It is about needing to still embrace it all even when you are alone. Embracing life when nobody understands.
