After hugging his sweetheart goodbye, Jim jumped into a biplane and screeched dramatically into the sky.
“When I get back, I’ll be famous!”
“Just get back.”
Lost in thought, Jim suddenly realized he was losing altitude, fast. Miles of dark jungle below, somewhere in there was hidden treasure. He could try going down on water and continuing the search…
“Of course I’ll get back.”
“Sometimes you just need a reminder.”
The propeller rattled to a stop and the nose dipped; Jim’s stomach sank with the plane and he made his choice. Betsy watched him turn around and smile at her.
