Sobriety: My Journey So Far: Part 2 Conviction
Those of you who read my last two posts will know that to start off the year, I decided to embrace sobriety for at least four months. I am now close to that four-month target, and I see no reason why it shouldn’t continue on till I am ready or till I actually want to start drinking once again.
This is part two, where I will speak about something that we all need to accomplish or achieve anything in our lives: Conviction.
Conviction

When it comes to achieving anything in life, be it sobriety, weight loss (my main reason for embarking on this journey of sobriety), earning a promotion, creating a successful business, writing a book or blog, etc., regardless of what you want to achieve, you need to dedicate yourself to it wholeheartedly. This is where you need the power of your conviction and dedicate yourself to hitting the targets, goals, and aims you have set.
At times, that will get hard, and you will be challenged. Challenged by anything and everything you can think of, from ongoings at work, personal dramas (friendships, relationships, family, etc.), peer pressure, stressful scenarios, unexpected and unwanted messages…
