More rememberable than the sweet — A love poem

Are you with me?
Are you ready to neglect the line and run?
Runaway as far as we can?

Are you ready to allow yourself to feel like this broken body is a myth?
Allow me to fight for your control,
as my smiles are fake until you are around.

Bravery comes naturally when safe in a cage where love will never find.
Find the cold dark memories. The forgotten laughter.
Nourishment from nothingness.

Shall we flirt with the love that never goes for the pain,
only goes for the kill?
Savour the sour taste that is more rememberable than the sweet.

Shall we act like no eyes can see us?
Venerate the injures of affection.
As ideas reappear for reconsideration.

The mentality will not imagine in due time.
This broken body will never leave us alone.
Shall we love what life has done to us while we can?
