Many of you must have always suspected what has now been proven: Sperm keeps you young. What sounds like a good justification for the applications of the male fountain of youth secretion for the facial skin goes in reality much further.

Our cells age from day to day, this starts already at the beginning of our life. Aging is not reversible yet. But it can be slowed down and thus diseases such as heart failure, the loss of nerve cells, or a metabolism that is no longer optimal can be stopped. Cellular waste accumulates in our bodies. Our body’s own waste disposal system functions increasingly poorly over the years. A very obvious sign of inter-cellular garbage is the age spots. They are the quasi-visible garbage dump. In themselves, they are not dangerous, but they show what is happening in our bodies.
Autophagy, as a function biologically integrated into us, is supposed to eliminate and even recycle this garbage. This keeps our cells healthy and thus is also a protective mechanism against aging and disease. However, over time, our body’s recycling enterprise functions less well.

Telomeres are the measuring tape of our lives, and they are getting shorter and shorter.

The ends of our chromosomes are protected by telomeres. They shorten with every cell division. Below a certain preserved length, biologically pre-programmed cell death sets in.
This is where the substance discovered by researchers in sperm comes into play. The donor and the prolonger of our life: spermidine.
An endogenous booster for the cleansing service, which really gets the recycling of old cell components going again.

It has long been thought to be good for the skin, but in fact, it is good for all cells, especially the liver, heart and brain. In studies, the telomeres of mice that received spermidine were similar in length to those of young animals. So it is a fountain of youth. This is not a supposition of advocates and connoisseurs of the natural body fluid, but now scientifically proven and also the subject of many other studies.

What a message to the gay world. Guys, isn’t this wonderful? Swallowing keeps you young and repairs your liver — fantastic. You just need to carefully consider the source of your life’s juice to enjoy this without STD concerns.

The study can be found here: Wirth, A., Wolf, B., Huang, CK. et al. Novel aspects of age-protection by spermidine supplementation are associated with preserved telomere length. GeroScience 43, 673–690 (2021).

But where to take from, if not steal? You will now be wondering how to get sufficient amounts of the elixir. How much is still being researched? Until then, you could either enlist your friend to take care of your health or wait hopefully behind a glory hole for a sufficient amount of supplements. However, the less exciting alternative would be wheat germ, aged cheese, soy products, and certain legumes.

So how you want to take the elixir of youth, whether freshly tapped from the Fountain of Youth or with plain food is up to you, in any case, you need it: Spermidine.
I wish you happy supplementation.

Stay tuned and curious about the next g-observations.
