Starting a website
Day 2 because I forgot to do Day 1
Two days ago, I read ‘Steal Like an artist’ It inspired me to start a blog and share my work. My English teacher always told me to do it. I thought that people might steal my work. Though, by this time, most of it is lost.
Yesterday, I started working. Errors after error after breakdown after breakdown, I had finally figured things out.
After walking up today, I started working again. It took me hours to fix even more new errors. Finally, by 5:00 pm, my work for the day was done.
Here is how things went:
- I brought a free domain from https://www.000webhost.com/
- Then, I installed WordPress
- I cursed myself for signing up in WordPress beforehand
- Afterwards, I managed to log in.
- Then I messed around with the application
- I cursed myself even more.
- I watched billions of billions of explanation videos
- Lastly, I added a theme.
Today, I woke up to see an error that wouldn’t even let me log in. Miraculously, the problem fixed itself.
I added my first post, only to find out that I messed up categories with pages. After fixing the issue- the good old error 404 appeared on my website.
My job was done at around 5:00 pm. It wasn’t easy as I thought it might be. Especially Grammarly made it much harder.
