A New Adventure in Writing
Well friends, I’ve finally done it. After a few fits and starts, I’ve jumped onto the newsletter creation bandwagon, and I must admit, I’m having fun.
So, what’s it all about, Alfie?
Okay, first things first. I’m not a guy whose going to write about today’s latest ChatGPT update, or tomorrow’s promising Apple release. And while I am interested in those types of things, I know myself well enough to avoid launching such a project.
You see, I just don’t have time to waste on shiny objects, no matter how fun and distracting they are. I am in my 60’s now, so my “Late-Onset ADHD” has fully bloomed. I may be utterly fascinated and, for an hour or two, fully committed to some new bright and shiny project. But the truth is, tomorrow that same project will probably not be as interesting, nor as entertaining to me as I earlier thought. Inevitably, it’ll end up in the towering pile of other such projects, gathering dust.
