Storm

A poem about wanting to know more

Photo by Torsten Dederichs on Unsplash

How can I be sure of anything
the tide changes
back where it came from
the wind gentle
blows down trees tomorrow
the sea sends
sailors crashing on the rocks
on another day
allowing them safely home
love the sea
but don’t be less afraid of it
I love you
not always sure of what you are
how you feel
I’d like to see me with your eyes
how you do
or climb through your mouth
sit on words…
