Story Of My Aging Parents

A poem

I take a look at my parents —
and see silvered hair and a wrinkled face.
I see scars and uneven textures
That speaks of tragedies and triumphs they have endured

Softer skins and even kinder hearts
Offer way more than just love.
As I feel my parents are aging
I see the world around me is also changing.
