Where is the inspiration?

This is the wrong question I used to ask myself. My heartache was too hard to ignore. The thing that used to give me pleasure was “writing.” It was like words were running away from me. My pen was crying out loud for a run on the paper.

Mindlessly scrolling through the feed with background music, I suddenly struck! I was reminded of a few words of mine by some old tunes. A few lines written a long time ago were coming alive with a feeling of how it felt when words used to come out and make me happy. Not getting that fulfillment was an unpleasant feeling, not only to get but to have made a home inside me for a while now.

Getting back to the question,

The things that used to inspire my lines were not there anymore.

Sorrow was not there anymore.

I realized that I was asking the wrong question.

My mind isn’t thinking like that anymore.

I am not the same person anymore.

The dreams and desires have changed. I have changed. The right question is, How will I find new inspiration? When we feel like missing old bliss, it’s important to take a step back. It is important to look back, let the old go, and get a fresh start. That might turn out better. Sad feelings may not be there, but happy ones are. Find the new happy flow.

All the chaos will answer you as well as it did to me. Follow the same pattern with different feelings, and it will surprise you.

Thank you for reading. Here is something from my old flow.
