Sunday is the Day to Wake At 5 A.M
Why wake up early and how to wake up early?
Why Should we wake up early?
We all are constantly bombarded with the “wake up early to be successful” motto from the self-help community.
But why? Is waking up early the key to success?
It is. They say it for a reason. Early morning is the perfect time to get your shit.
The reasons are,
- There are less disturbances in the environment that can distract you from your work, compared to the rest of the day. The new messages coming, the phone ringing, noises in the background, people interrupting your workflow.
- There is a calmness in the morning, which people who work in the morning feel. This calmness allows you to focus more on your work.
- You are not forced to only work in the morning, that is something you can add to it. Mornings are the time you should give to yourself; read, work out, meditate.
What is special about waking up on Sunday?
The thing about Sunday is, that it is a rest day, after a long week of work, one final day to rest. Sunday is also a day for you.
But you gotta wake up in the morning on Sunday too.
Why?
- We all know and can agree not all of our important work is done by Friday. we still have incomplete works, which hinder our peace of mind to spend with pure comfort and spend time with our loved ones. So complete your incomplete work in the early morning, and be mentally relaxed for the rest of the day.
- If you don’t have work pending on Sundays, you can use your early morning time to do learn new things, do workouts, meditate, read and make time in the rest of the day to relax and make time for family and friends.
Relaxation does not have to interfere with productivity and growth.
How do you get the habit of waking up early?
The habit of waking up early is a hard one.
Firstly, get the required 7–8 hours of sleep to wake up early and not feel tired for the rest of the day.
The first 3 or 4 days will be hard no matter if you are getting 8 hours of sleep, the hard part would not be waking up if you are getting 8 hours of sleep. The hard thing would be going to sleep😂.
Be disciplined and go to bed on time. That is the hardest thing to do in making this habit of sleeping, honestly, I too struggle with this and lack the discipline to go to bed on time.
