When discussing diet, it is crucial to cover all the minerals, nutrients, and vitamins the body needs. We often forget about this and consume increasingly unhealthy foods in our stressful daily lives. The unhealthier our diet becomes over decades, the more our connection to our body’s feelings deteriorates.

Microgreens can do the trick and help you take a large step further toward a healthy and balanced diet.

If you’re not familiar with microgreens, they are young vegetable greens harvested as soon as the first leaves have grown. They are smaller than baby greens but larger than sprouts, typically about 1–3 inches or 2.5–7.6 cm tall, and easier to digest than most fully grown veggies or sprouts. These super young greens have a high density of nutrients. They often contain much higher concentrations of vitamins, minerals, and even antioxidants compared to their mature counterparts.

I appreciate that they are pretty easy to grow, and once you have the equipment set up, you can use it repeatedly, requiring minimal space. You can comfortably do this from home year-round.
