Synchronicity is Going to the Bookstore to Pick up Book ‘X’ But Finding All The Answers to Your ‘Whys’ in Book ‘Y’
#1-You Honour Your Date With Yourself And Visit the Book Store
You wake up, shower, dress and decide to go to the bookstore with the intention of picking up a copy of the latest book you heard the rave reviews for.
You land at the bookstore.
Are instantaneously intoxicated by the smell of freshly printed books on crisp reams of paper.
You check out the front shelf that sports the best sellers.
Then start your journey through the aisles.
The smell of ink on paper surrounding you, creating a stir in your mind.
Getting you mentally stimulated.
It does feel good to get back to your reading rhythm and world of books, after a hiatus.
#2-A Story Starts to Conspire
To be surrounded with books, books and some more is a wonderful feeling.
You are browsing through the pages of the bestselling book and it does seem a tad-bit interesting.
But not as much as the level that the reviews hyped it up to.
They were rave reviews.
Somehow, don’t seem to match up to the snippets that you are reading from it.
You dismiss that book and soon start browsing through some books placed adjacent to it in similar, related categories.
Flipping through this and that.
Nothing seems to completely arrest your attention.
You pivot again.
Bookstore rules!
Happens all the time.
Don’t we all do it!

And then as you are randomly browsing through tons of books, a few lines from a book with a non-flashy, humble cover catch your fancy.
#3-Tempted to Dive Deeper
From the first page that you read it, it piques your curiosity.
Your soul’s quest is titillated.
As you begin flipping through its chapters, some nuggets and paragraphs here and there, start speaking directly to your spirit.
You begin to soar.
Evoking your joie de vivre.
That had got relegated to the background of your life.
You turn to the back cover to read about the author.
Your interest is at an all time peak.
How can an author know exactly what you’ve yearned to know all your life?
Answers to the most pressing questions in your heart revealing themselves to you.
You soaking it up like the sunlight on a cold winter’s day.
#4- The ‘Ahas’ Now Hitting You Like a Ton of Bricks
You dive deeper into some other chapters.
‘Aha’ moments beginning to hit you like a ton of bricks.
Epiphanies all over the place.
You are glued to the spot.
Into the pages of the book.
Oblivious to other passers-by that are looking for other books.
This book is ‘so’ the discovery of all seasons. Of life.
It seems to have answers to questions that had haunted you all your life.
#5-An Oasis in the Desert of Life — It had Beckoned, Contrary to What You May Believe!
You are getting to quench the thirst of all the ‘whys’ in your soul’s trajectory. Your very existence being decoded.
Oodles of wisdom emanating from the pages of a non flashy, subtle cover and an author of humble stature.
‘Never judge an author by the hype. Or not,’ you reckon in your mind!
That book contains such a salve to all those questions that always seemed to send you down a rabbit hole, once you started pondering on you soul’s ‘whys,’ ‘what ifs,’ ‘hows’ etc etc.
The ‘whys’ that kept you awake through those nights.
You are so so grateful to the Universe, that you decided to step out of the house and honour your date with yourself at the book store.
To pick up that best seller.
So that in its guise, you could land your hands and eyes on this innocuous looking, humble piece of ‘bomb for the parched soul’ in this material world.
#6- When the Disciple is Ready, the Master Appears
You may think that because you decided to honour your date with yourself at the book store, this chain of events occurred.
But as per my POV, that book had beckoned.
That book drew you out of the house on that morning.
You had surrendered your ‘whys’ to the Universe.
You had stopped questioning.
You had started going with the flow.
You had become part of its innate flow.
Then, when you had forgotten that you had forgotten about it, the answers manifested themselves.
When the disciple is ready, the master appears.
In fact, I would like to go a step further and add:
When the disciple surrenders fully, the master delivers a masterstroke.
There is no greater Master than the Universal Wisdom.
A Story of Synchronicity and Divine Occurrence!
Happens, right?
