O God, Mother and Father of us all,

Your Breath gave life to the universe

Your Will sustains it

You placed a spark of Your divinity within all of us

For we were made in Your image and likeness

This divine light is closer to us than we are to ourselves

Your love for each and every one of us has no limits,

Is unconditional, and eternal

Your Presence is always there for us

The gateway is always open

We have but to let go, surrender to You

To partake of Your kingdom and

Therein find comfort and repose

Churches, temples, mosques, all places of assemblies of believers

Only have worth to the extent that by their beauty, or simplicity or quiet

They facilitate Your people coming closer to You

I believe that what we do outside of these houses of worship

Is more pleasing to You than what we say inside of them

Acts of kindness and generosity are as prayers to You
