Harriette looked at her daughter while she said that. She was surprised that her daughter caught her looking at her violin teacher. Harriette was shocked she looked at him.
She doesn’t want any relationship. She has no time for that. Raising a child, bringing her to music lessons, to school and working at the same time. How does she will find time to be in a relationship anyhow?
It was not meant that her daughter caught her looking at her violin teacher. But he just looked so cute in his great shirt on his body and he just has long hair. Harriette loves that.
Monday was Vivianne’s first-ever violin lesson. The weekend was a little bit busy. Her mother had to fill in the form Vivianne’s teacher, David, told her to do so, to get a little fund from the local government who stimulates the arts.
Vivianne started to play for her teacher, David, and she thought it sounded so awful, that she almost quit playing. Vivianne realized that she got an attitude to be that good at playing the violin immediately. That is something David thought too. That is what he wanted to work on with Vivianne. He felt her passion for the instrument. She told herself not to stop playing because she loved this instrument very much. The sound her favourite instrument.
“Vivianne, maybe you can take a breath before playing again.”
And so did Vivianne. She took a breath in and out. She put her violin under her chin and played again. This trick helped her feel a little bit more comfortable with her instrument. She smiled again.
“You are talented Vivianne.”
David smiled when he said that. How fast she picks up the tips and tricks she got from him, is amazing for a child her age. Most of the children are not concentrating and are very distracted by other things on their mind. But this little girl has the focus a musician needs. He loved that, as well as her willingness to learn that instrument. Playing the violin can be a little bit difficult.
