Temporal Continuity: Bridging Past and Present
What is past? It often seems gone and done with. It seems like a distant dream land separates from realities of our present lives. Contrary to common perception, our past Paradoxicalky shapes our existence in many ways. The interplay of present, our past and everything in between, be it intentional or not, survive through our journey into the future.
Baruch Spinoza, the famous Portuguese philosopher said once:
“If you want the present to be different from the past, study the past.”
Indeed if we intend to avoid repeating the same mistakes we must learn from history.
Now let’s dive deeper.

May Existential Freedom be the Answer?
Existentialism emphasizes our lives based on the fact that our past experiences don’t control our present lives. Instead it tells on our present and we have the ability and the freedom to transcend it through our actions, attitudes, and interpretations of the past experiences. Indeed, according to an existentialist we can choose to redefine our narrative.
