I’ve been a solopreneur for the past ten years as a private tutor, most often for test prep and math. My business has grown from something that brought in a little money on the side to something that fully supports my family of three. And this year, I’ve also started a side hustle selling printables on Etsy.

For more about my Etsy side hustle, check out this Medium post:

I’ve learned a lot along the way, from business accounting to marketing and website creation. I’ve read books, listened to hours and hours of podcast episodes, watched countless YouTube videos, and taken a few valuable online courses (and many that were less helpful).

But actually, some of the most impactful lessons I’ve learned haven’t come from anything explicitly business-related.
