If you are looking to get a job in the tech industry and whether you are a professional or beginner, you probably heard the news about the tech bubble bursting, tech stocks are crashing, hiring freezes, and possible layoffs across the tech giants.

This might be confusing and discouraging. That is understandable but it doesn’t have to be, even the worst of situations have the potential to produce positive results.

Let’s explore the good news. In case of a hiring freeze, it means that the company needs workers but can’t afford them. In the case of layoffs, it means the company has enough workers but can’t afford to keep paying them. Either way, whatever the case might be, historically, it’s always been a temporary situation until companies rush to hire new staff when the economy is getting back to normal.
