We don’t have worries in life as much as we have in our minds.

At so many moments of daily life, we feel “Ahhh! Life is so difficult.”

When you meet any disappointment, failure, or unexpected situations, you end up asking “Why all bad things are happening to me?”

What if we reverse these questions — “What is life teaching me?,” and “How can I make it easy?”

“Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated.” -Confucius

So, what complicates it?

Whenever I have to make a choice, it might be simple like going somewhere, I think over 10 times about what to do.

When any small problem hits, I increase it in my head while having its simple solution like a call or a small talk.

I can’t count how many times I used to warm up a problem in my mind while choosing between a yes or no.

We insist on complicating life because of our fractured attitudes, thinking, and approaches. — Harsh, but true.

The attitude issue is worrying about the problems — That’s not a solution.

When it can be controlled with the attitude of — let’s fix it, let’s see how we can solve it.

Overthinking about the silly points like what is someone thinking about me because of my embarrassing moment, mistake, or misstep in the project. When, in reality, they aren’t considering anything about you.

Including myself, we make such common mistakes and win the award of making our life supremely complicated.

How you simplify:

Your life is as your attitude is.

Fix how you look at situations to fix your life. Every situation has 100s of perspectives and angles to consider, why limit ourselves to one?

So, be open to new perspectives to shape your mindset, attitude, and ultimately life.

“Nothing in life is so hard that you can’t make it easier by the way you take it.”

Ellen Glasgow

Second, ask questions:

  • What’s a simple way to do it?
  • How am I complicating it?
  • Is there any better solution?

You find solutions inside when you self-introspect.

Resolutions don’t lie in seeking more answers but in asking the right questions.

So, question yourself.

Think before you act.

Simplified thinking makes our simple life.

When you ask questions, you direct yourself to be specific on what you want or need.

Last year, I was asking for more clients, work, and high income.

It doubled the pressure on my head and added anxiety every day.

But when I asked — what’s enough for me? What exactly do I need?

I had answers that having 2 to 3 clients is enough rather than what I had wished for earlier.

You simplify your life with every thought, action, and perspective.

What you feed to your mind that you get in return in your life whether it is your attitude or the way you think.

Get in get out.

So, simplify what you feed your mind to win at that art of simplifying your life.
