Over the weekend we decided to watch a movie. We’ve heard a lot of things about “The Book of Clarence”. The commenters, preachers, and Pastors said

The movie is wrong.

It’s blasphemous

Unsound

Unscriptural

Upon finally watching the movie here are my few thoughts on it.

It’s a Comedy

Similar to the works of Mel Brooks and other producers. They are producers who use historic events or people as the backdrop of the main story. In this case, the characters are highlighting events and people around Christ. The main character in this movie isn’t Jesus but Clarence. Clarence, the brother of Thomas

Now Thomas also known as Didymus (John 20:24)

Didymus means twin

It’s a comedy full of satire, and fun.
