The Changing Scenario of Expressing Ourselves
The new ways of communication help to suit the personality of people
In the past, the only means of communication with each other was to talk face to face-directly or hide behind the phone. If you were shy speaking to a person behind a telephone acted like a curtain between the two people.
The new communication style is sending texts, emojis, memes, voice notes, moving images, video calling, and so many others.
The new ways of expression determine your personality and help you to use the form that suits your personality.
Lucky is the new generation with the advancement of technology there are so many ways of expressing emotions.
A shy person need not communicate directly.
Many of my friends now only send a text. Others send me voice messages. To talk to them on the phone is one big hurdle.
Sometimes you need to clarify something but getting across to them is like climbing a mountain. The bell rings but soon you get the message that she is talking to someone else and the phone is busy. The fact of the matter is that she is Madam busy or busy Sir. They do not want to talk to you. This is plain and simple.
Many of my friends send me emojis to express their feelings or every message of theirs is accompanied by an emoji. It shows the tone of the message.
The quiet ones will only message and not talk.
A friend of mine told me that she is very shy and she prefers to text than talk. Another researcher said, “Mam I am usually in a library doing research. I cannot talk but I can text. So please only send me a text unless it is very important and urgent to talk.”
This is a very clear indication given to the other person their preferred way of communication.
Some friends send me only emojis. From them, I receive an emoji that sets the tone of the message. I know that they are happy, sad, in a bright mood, or sending me a hug. I send them an emoji too. That is our way of expressing to each other. We have accepted this form of communication.
