The Drama of the Past Is Ending Now
‘Who has become 20 this year’
A journey from teenage to adulthood
I was daydreaming, I mean I became past in my present. The train of the present is going on in its rhythms but I place a big tree of the past in its track.
My past is full of incidents with school memories, the old ground, the old friends, and many things that became old.
As we grow up we tend to cling to the past instead of making something in the present and many people get depressed and sad as they move forward in life because they cling to threads of the past.
‘We make crush because our present life is crushed’
I read this quote from the book ‘Think Like a Monk’ by Jay Shetty and it feels so true to me.
We tend to seek love or validation from other people because our lives are damaged. We depend on others and think that only they can give us love because we don’t feel whole in ourselves.
At school, we are surrounded by people, and every day is full of incidents and memories that are too much for our brains to recall. And after this when we came to college where everything felt unfamiliar.
For my teenage, I decided to not make this time with colors of happiness and sadness or with any polarity scenarios instead I told myself that this open sky was more beautiful than the old class blackboard. This is the time to make memories with yourself.
Make memories of ‘ How you cried in your situation that feels sorrowful’, ‘ How you clean all fears of childhood that doesn’t have any base’, or ‘How you leave that thinking loop of your crush that every day absorbs your energy’.
This 20 years of your life is like 20% of your whole life that tell you a story about yourself that can be right or wrong, you have to know if it is right or wrong.
These 20 years will become the base of your upcoming years, so explore, try 20 things, and choose from them to work on further. Gain knowledge about your behavior, thoughts, and patterns of life events.
Take external resources that contain information about life but don’t throw it on your brain as it is, contemplate it, choose the resonating things, and make your thesis that has information about life and throw it on the world.
Remember that life has not ended now there is more to come that will change you and your thinking and be open to it.
Quite the drama of the past and create a present that you will appreciate when it becomes the past and always be with the present.
