A Tory Test lab vs Tory-light: Where’s the Difference?

When we talk about the current climate in Britain, a “Tory test lab” according to Guardian columnist, Owen Jones, we seem to forget that Britain has had years of Tory-light at least before the Conservatives actually came into power.

As lefties with hearts that beat for a compassionate, all-inclusive society where, we believe, the vital parts necessary for that society should be in the public field, we have mixed feelings at the moment.

Yes, it seems the end is nigh for the Tories; Labour’s long wait is almost over. But something tells us it’s too soon to rejoice.
