The feeling of not belonging:

Sometimes all we want to feel is a sense of belonging. A safe space, a place of accountability. A space where we feel like we can be vulnerable without judgment. We look at two people giggling away and exchanging glances while talking to a third and we know they share something intimate and sometimes that's all that we crave. We want to feel like a part of something. We want to hold someone accountable for not calling us when we wanted them to, someone to hold us when we fall, someone to stick by us when we ourselves want to dissociate. At least someone who fights to be with us. Someone who will just be there.
