Is it possible to tell the future by studying the past?

One faces the future with one’s past.

Pearl S. Buck

It’s more so than you would think. It’s just a matter of changing the context with the surrounding culture. Another way of saying the surroundings change the people’s behavior remains the same.

To think how much things can change while people’s reactions and behavior are still in a primitive state.

I worked in direct contact with the public and was always interested in watching people and their behavior.

Spent several years in food service which made for some interesting observations. At first, I was amazed at how many animal behavior traits we often display.

You want to see the real animal come out.

When it comes to people and their food,

watch out things can get dangerous. If you make one mistake on their order, they’re ready to kill. If you talk to other workers in food service, could tell you some stories.

For some, it was like taking a bone out of a dog’s mouth. Really. They would snarl and get aggressive, like wild people. Apologize, and they still would come after you.
