Ethical Way of Influencing People
When trying to influence or guide others using your presence or magnetism, the most important thing to remember is this: make them feel good about themselves and you first. You can achieve this by portraying a genuine gesture or by saying kind words that highlight the positive aspects of them; this should be entirely different from flattery.
Never try to get someone to do what you want until you’ve created a positive impression and a comfortable feeling in their mind that you cherish them. This is the first and most important step.
Once that good feeling is present, you can then begin to influence them. When you’re trying to convince someone to go along with your ideas, you need to do three things:
- Feel confident and positive within yourself — this creates a magnetic effect.
- Truly want them to do what you desire — focus your intention strongly.
- Imagine that they are already agreeing with you and doing what you hope for.
