The Government Grows Without End — Open letter to the Peter G. Peterson Foundation
Amen.
Open letter to the Peter G. Peterson Foundation on their article “Shoring Up Social Security.” Dated August 8th, 2023.
I must say your foundation is very positive about making suggestions on fixing ALL existing Government Programs. But, there is a “BUT:” You have not reviewed your fundamental assumption for doing all this.
Your basic assumption is this: “The government is working according to the Declaration of Independence (Our Moral Law) AND The Constitution (The Law That Rules Our Government).”
IT IS NOT. And has not since Woodrow Wilson introduced the 4th Branch of Government.
Since then, they have become the regulators of American Life.
A soon-to-be 33 Trillion Dollar debt is an “Abuse of Power.”
This is in accordance with Our Moral Law -
“The Declaration of Independence.”
THERE IS AN IMPORTANT “BUT…” THERE.
The people clearly cannot afford that.
The budget is $5 Trillion dollars. The debt is soon to be $33 Trillion Dollars. This is 6.6 times our annual income… And they say, “Just Raise the Ceiling of the DEBT…Who gives a s..t?”
In 2022 the government income was $5 Trillion in round numbers. The government spent $9 Trillion in round numbers, almost TWICE what they make!
AND THIS IS NOT ABUSE OF POWER?
I wish I could spend twice what I make!!!!!! every year until I DIE!
I DO NOT HAVE THAT POWER. WHY WOULD I GIVE IT TO THEM?
NOT ONLY ARE WE BEING ABUSED BY THE 4TH BRANCH OF GOVERNMENT. The Congress and the office of the President are no different.
We also have to have a WAR between the people and the government to “take them out?”
AS A PEOPLE, How else do we stop this abuse?
OUR FOREFATHERS ASSUMED WE WOULD BE ARMED AS THEY WERE BEFORE THE WAR OF INDEPENDENCE. We are not.
SO…I’d like to see an article from the Peter Peterson Foundation that would speak about THIS basic premise of citizenship decency.
