The Homeless Became Part Of The Landscape — Until They Disappeared

In the Spring of 2021, when the world was taking its first shaky steps outside after a year of pandemic life, a homeless man set up a tent in my local park. I live in the heart of downtown Toronto, and that tiny park, less than a city block in length and width, is the only greenspace in my neighborhood.
