How so many countries can not make full use of the new iPhone

Introduction

So, I have recently bought myself an iPhone 12 as an upgrade from my old iPhone 7, and while the new phone is absolutely great by itself, I will never get to use it to its maximum capacity and I feel that one of the main features advertised with the new iPhone is absolutely worthless to me in my current living situation.

The feature and my problem

See, I live in Egypt, and this is where the problem starts. In Egypt, the 5G feature, which is now a stable for so many phone companies and very important to most countries around the world, is here absolutely useless since we simply do not have the technology to support it.

In fact, we do not even have full coverage of 4G around here. Yes! That is true. In here, I do not get 4G coverage all day long and in many cases, it would be 3G and in certain areas or buildings, you won’t even have a signal at all or be capable of accessing the internet at all.
